Personal Artwork
2017-2025
My work is rooted in the primal and the unapologetically bold. It draws a direct line between the structured nostalgia of midcentury design and the raw, unrefined spirit of the Texas Hill Country.
Driven by the grit and soul of Austin, a city that balances urban creativity with a “heed the call” attitude, I explore the tension where abstract shapes meet natural landscapes. My focus on texture gives the work its character, grounding it in a sense of rugged, intentional beauty.
My aesthetic is a global patchwork fueled by a deep reverence for international folk art. From the rhythmic geometry of Pueblo textiles to the hand-carved soul of West African masks, I am drawn to art that captures the tactile relationship between humanity and the outdoors. My work serves as a visual bridge, connecting the sophisticated craft of the studio with the rugged, authentic pulse of the wild.
